TOPIC: Infinite Interactive
Infinite Interactive 6 years, 1 month ago #3541
HI there, have you got any ideas why the homework is, well, how to say it?, not working quite well?
Is Steve again changing things there? Will there be a new one? Is he working on new projects? Thank you for any news! Have a nice weekend, Warlorders |

What do you mean by "homework"?
As far as I know, Steve's still working on Gems of War but there was a little tidbit a while ago about starting development on Puzzle Quest 3. Haven't heard or seen anything since though. |

Ah, I see what you mean; I usually just go straight to the forums. Not sure what's happening on the homepage, probably something needs tweaked to display correctly. But yeah, it's probably been "forgotten" as Gems of War is the main thing now.

Seems to be the case.....forgotten or just not enough time? I guess Steve is still working with the same "small" group of fellows around?
And since they brought "Gems of War" there are "updates" and "Patches" week by week...guess tons of work for them? Can't go into details here 'cause I have no clue when it comes to Computer work. I am the "foolish" player guy...*gg* They have the "Gems of War" Homepage running on full action but their own company homepage is out of care, support..call it whatever you want... too bad... |

I'm not sure who worked with him before as a "small" group, but it seems the core group of programmer/people who started Gems of War with him are still around. And they've hired some more people as well in the four years since it's been out, so I would say it's a "medium" sized group
There are weekly new content releases (that are put into the "schedule" "ahead of time") so yeah, that's constantly being worked on. There are updates/Patches every few months which are also being worked on - one was just released yesterday. Could be same, different, or a few same working on those. <shrug> The Gems of War site/homepage could be run by the publishing company 505 Games, so Steve and I2 don't have to maintain/be responsible for it. |

Their weekly releases seem to be a lot of and hard work!
But I still don't know why they don't care about their infinite interactive homepage anymore? As you said, if Gems of War could be ran by 505Games, they'd probablay had more time for their own page.. Well, hope remains as usual Have a nice weekend |

Well, I certainly can't answer about why I2 homepage seems to be neglected
What I was saying above is that 505Games *might* be in charge of the web design stuff so that I2 can focus on GoW development (or it might be part of 505Games responsibility, period - I don't know ). But in any case, Gems of War has I2's attention non-stop (aside from Steve's "teaser" about mentioning PQ3) so their own page is probably very low priority. Very Low |

Got your point!
You are right, very low.... We'll what time brings. I guess Steve hasn't forgotten Warlords, guess he still plays it occasionally |

Gentlemen, are you really (and I mean really really) sure you would want to see a new Warlords game? Cross-platformed, in full 3D, with this anime-ish graphics we have seen already in Puzzle Quest? Do you really think this hypothetical new Warlords game could have become as much loved by you as previous games are?
The longer I think about it, the more I think I don't want to see a new Warlords game. Alas... |
