Hello everyone, I'm glad to make my 1st post in a forum of like minded warlords, as it's quite hard to find fans of the Warlords series outside of conventional platforms I have been looking forward to this day

My question is 1 that I've been puzzled with for.... 12 years I've tried to solve it myself but never found results reliable enough to draw a conclusion because results always seemed random (which may be the answer but I'll ask anyway)

Which items carry over onto the next scenario when playing the campaigns?
I'll have several items on a few of my hero's and complete the scenario then on the next scenario I'll have just 1-2-3 items. Do items bought from merchants carry over? Do items earned from Quests carry over? Do found items carry over? Do items carry over based on plot, For example 'Banes Crown' on the 'Banes Revenge' Campaign.

I replied directly to you by email with the answer to your question. In case you didn't get it, here it is again.

The items that carry forward are set by the campaign designer. However there is *no* indication to players what items carry over (a big oversight in my mind). Another Warlords site (I thought it was Mod3M's) had this information at one time (I think) for the various campaigns but it's been a long time since I looked for it so I can't be sure. I don't think there is any item that carries over for all 10 scenarios in a campaign so you'll constantly be losing and gaining items.

If you really want to know you can manually load the scenarios for the campaign in the Scenario Editor (it's in your DLR directory) and figure it out. The rule is that any item that appears in a scenario can be carried over from the prior one. So for example if Bane's Crown is in episode 1 and also in episode 2 then it can be carried over. Otherwise it can't. So all you have to do is look at the 'items' list for each scenario.
